Armstead is way more valuable than most give him credit for
And way less valuable than others give him credit for

Good game this week, though.

I don't believe that. You can turn on game footage and see that he's a huge asset.

And you can turn on game footage and see him slow off the snap, getting stood up, falling on teammates, running around clueless, etc. He's underrated by some and overrated by others. I think he's overrated by fans on this board. YMMV.
He's no longer a bust.

Buck refused to take a team friendly deal, where AA didn't refuse it, his 2yr first cap numbers were lower than Buck's 1st yr cap number, we made the right choice, and this is coming from someone who hated it then, still hate it now, but I'd rather have Hargrave over Buckner, Buck got pushed around too easily, where Hargrave doesn't.

Buckner claimed they didn't make an offer.

And also said he WOULD have signed a team friendly deal.

Easy to say when you took big money to play with another team. I'm pretty sure if he would've taken Arik's deal he would still be here.

Either way it's pathetic that fans are still b***hing about this years after it happened and AA is a team captain who has been playing very well for us even if the sack numbers aren't huge.

Agree, and I think one reason is that Buckner is a tall dude. 6'7" whereas Hargrave is 6'2" - so one inch taller than Brock. Both are great players and great athletes, and I didn't like losing Buckner at all, but Hargrave definitely fits Kocurek's system better as a DT taking on double teams on this crazy Wide 9 scheme vs Buckner who stands taller and has difficulty getting down and establishing leverage.
Good pass deflection today.
I think he's looked pretty good. Bar wasn't set very high, but good nonetheless

Yes I saw a few times him pushing the guy blocking him into the backfield. Baby steps.
It's funny he is our best DL at batting down passes. Drake Jackson is next. Not sure why the other lineman don't get as many (I give Bosa a pass )
Back to back games where he made top 5 defenders in PFF grades. Good start!

Seattle will sign him.
Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw earned the second-highest grade of his career and his highest since Week 12 of 2020 (91.6). Kinlaw racked up four pressures and four hurries. He was also credited with a betted pass.

Waits until his contract year to play well. Shocking.
