The A list players coming up due for a deal this offseason in my eye are Aiyuk and even though it will be just 8 games or so, Chase Young. We will likely try to resign them in that order and let Kinlaw walk to net comp picks

Kinlaw is a C-tier player at best, so I'm not sure why there's even this much attention being given to his future with the team. Kevin Givens is a better all-around player than Kinlaw, yet not a single person on this board is worried about re-signing him. Why? Because he's a backup. That's the way we should be handling Kinlaw as well.

Let's go JK. I had really high hopes that he would be one of our anchor on defense. It's not too late.

Can't disagree with you. Will say this though... I fully expect JK to play his absolute best, including fighting through injuries, in order to land a good payday with his next contract. (not with us)

Lol we get it, you are not a kinlaw fan
He didn't look good today. On KNBR plenty of criticism about how he blew his chance.

He blew that in 2022. No way he was returning. I thought it could happen, but at this point, I'd rather play Davis, a solid vet, and get two rookies in the rotation.
Waste of a pick

Many want to come here to revive their careers and go on to better paydays elsewhere.

This is key. It helps get some great compensatory picks later on when they are signed away. I believe Brock purdy was a compensatory pick because of a free agent signing. (or something like that). Breida being traded away, and us getting a 5th round pick for him - helped get Trent Williams. Anyway, agree, the bottom line is having undervalued players come here on the cheap, improve their play, and then get signed away by other teams for millions.

I imagine he doesn't get resigned.
He played his A game today. It's just another normal Kinlaw type of day.

I could've told you that 2 years ago
I just want him to ball out (to the extent of his ability) and get us the best comp pick possible. That...is our best case scenario. IMO
He's fine as a rotational piece but he's certainly not armstead.

id like to resign him he is starter level talent that we will have as a solid rotation piece

This was a tough assignment we had what 3 DT active this game? No rotation at all so they would be very tired
