Until yesterday he's done pretty well vs. the run this season imo, but he got murdered yesterday. I agree they can have success with him as a rotational guy, but that's going to be his ceiling on this team.

He was drafted for his pass rush upside similar to Trey Lance and his physical tools. Kinlaw was never a great pass rusher in college, but he's quite literally got all of the physical tools you'd want in one. Unfortunately, this is who Kinlaw is and has always been since college--a poor pass rusher with small spurts of good run defense play. Yesterday further proved my point a few pages ago that Kinlaw is nothing more than a backup whose future people spend way too much time worried about. His role as a run defender is easily replaced on day 3 by a healthy squattier, stronger interior DL whose built to take on double teams and stay in a gap for 25+ snaps a game. We need 2 of those guys. That's really what we're missing on this DL.

In summary he doesn't try his best all the time and doesn't have "a motor" which is a trait found in top nfl players. He takes plays off and gets fooled easily. And this isn't when his red flagged knees are swollen and needs to be drained.
We will need him to have his spirts and maybe get lucky tomorrow without AA and a recovering Hargrave.
How did that CeeDee Lamb guy do last night?

As good as Tristan Wirfs. We want a redo.

You should start a Reggie McGrew thread and rant.

The ironic part is he had no clue who Wirfs even was. Just happened to be the last OL standing when the pick was up 🤣

Tired of this dude already.

Maybe they'll get a comp pick for him
Can't wait until this guy is gone. He gets chance after chance, and he's consistently disappointed. Still fails to play with the proper pad level.
They should've moved on from this dude 2 years ago and got a DT who could at least just be a run stuffer

Get comfy it's all we got right now
Garbage!!!! 🗑️
I hope we don't see as much of this dude going into the playoffs. We need AA back bad.

Kris Kocurek is supposed to be a good D line coach but I don't see this group playing up to par this year. I thought adding Hargrave was going to give a big push up the middle with Bosa getting more sacks as a result. It hasn't happened. They added Chase Young and he's been okay but the line still isn't what you would expect. I see people blaming Wilks but not many are blaming Kocurek.

100%

this DL has had tons of resources dumped into it an somehow only gets worse. Our edge rushers rarely get home, we have little push in the middle an are very gashable on runs up the middle. Chase young has clearly been very mediocre since acquired an the fact that Washington's other DE yielded much more in his trade an got a fat contract rught away should have told us that sweat was the better DE we should have went after. Hopefully he's waiting until the playoffs to ramp it up. Now with adding SJD ANOTHER quality DL late in the season there is definitely no excuse for this group to not get push an pressure. They are as loaded as you can get. We literally have no more room to add anymore players here.

im hoping this team has just gotten cocky and has been "coasting" an saving their effort for the playoffs so once we get there they hit another level of effort an play that is up to their full potential. Cause what they've done so far is not their full potential.

Interesting take and I can't disagree.

I also thought w/the addition of Hargrave we'd be tearing Olines apart & didn't happen.

Then, picking up Chase Young, I thought we'd become the Sack Exchange & that didn't happen.

in regards to them, Not sure what the issues are.

Maybe a rest will help.

Thank you Cardinals!
