I thought adding Hargrave was going to give a big push up the middle with Bosa getting more sacks as a result. It hasn't happened. They added Chase Young and he's been okay but the line still isn't what you would expect. I see people blaming Wilks but not many are blaming Kocurek.

100%

this DL has had tons of resources dumped into it an somehow only gets worse. Our edge rushers rarely get home, we have little push in the middle an are very gashable on runs up the middle. Chase young has clearly been very mediocre since acquired an the fact that Washington's other DE yielded much more in his trade an got a fat contract rught away should have told us that sweat was the better DE we should have went after. Hopefully he's waiting until the playoffs to ramp it up. Now with adding SJD ANOTHER quality DL late in the season there is definitely no excuse for this group to not get push an pressure. They are as loaded as you can get. We literally have no more room to add anymore players here.

im hoping this team has just gotten cocky and has been "coasting" an saving their effort for the playoffs so once we get there they hit another level of effort an play that is up to their full potential. Cause what they've done so far is not their full potential.

Young talked during the week about how he was looking forward to playing Wash. Talk is cheap. Some of the lack of sacks are the result of the scheme that Wilks runs. He emphasizes staying in their lanes so they can't get over aggressive. AA doesn't make a lot of splashy plays but it's clear that he's important in stopping the run game . They've been a sieve since e got hurt. I hope he can make it back for the playoffs because they can't allow teams to run and keep drives going. This team is built to play from the lead and they can't do that very well if the offense is on the sideline.
99 had some huge plays in the first half. He looked like the 14th overall pick on a few reps.

2nd highest graded defensive player this week on PFF.
Gotta give 99 some love because he had a damn good game, and we NEED him to build off this game and keep elevating his play vs DET. This is textbook rep right here turning the double into a single by attacking his man, getting skinny and waiting until he's free to get off the block. When you see it from the bird's eye view, you can see the knockback created by Kinlaw with great pad level and brute strength.

Has much has he's been hurt he needs to calm his arze down. But i guess when you make as few big plays has he does he gets excited over the one he made for the year.

Could be a big game for Kinlaw. He will be lining up against a backup Guard who gave up multiple pressures to TB.

Started celebrating before the RB fell to the ground. Finish before you celebrate big guy.
Good to see. Too bad that same DL gave up over 100 yards rushing to Jones with no sacks. But they did have some individual moments. Now put it together this game.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I believe Javon Kinlaw could be the X-factor this Sunday on the defensive line.

if you take out his 53 yard run which was due to some poor angles and tackling they held him 55 yards which is pretty good.

I legit thought he tore his acl or something when he celebrated the tack for loss lol..

Alright. It might be time to step away from the keyboard.
