How might have things turned out differently, if we had just kept Buckner instead of Armstead? What a terrible trade. And another bust...

The trade wasn't the issue. It was who they chose to draft with that draft pick that was the issue.

And who they passed up...Tristan Wirfs.

They had plenty of capital and options to trade up for Aiyuk too if they were hellbent on drafting him in a year of an excellent and deep WR class.

This hurts more than missing with Lance tbh.

We might have had 2 chips.

Finally, this disaster is over.

Amen. Good luck and good riddance

Unfounded hating. Dude was good last year. Not his fault he was injured early on. I'm a little worried he'll tear it up for the jets. Hopefully not an ACL…

On that turf? Game over.

I still remember the draft day thread.

"OMG We're getting Tristan Wirfs!! "

trade back

"OMG We're getting CeeDee Lamb "

49ers select Javon Kinlaw

Aiyuk was my favorite receiver in that class, so I was happy we got him. I wasn't happy about Kinlaw. Wirfs was clearly better.

Don't draft for need!!!
The Becton of DL joins, well Becton
I wish him well and continue to improve on a solid 2023 season.
I guess it's farewell to the Grant v Kinlaw saga

How much did they pay the dude? I thought he would get a 2-3 year deal.
Was an awful pick from the second his name was announced.

You have a very low bar for what good is.
Good as in staying relatively healthy and making a few solid plays that no one can remember. The bar is indeed low.
He was an ok rotational guy, but nothing close to replacing Buck.

Who's gonna take over smack the douche position play. We're screwed.
Kinlaw wasn't playing well but losing him and maybe AA leaves the 49ers really thin in the middle. They'll need to find a couple guys in the draft.
6.9 mill guaranteed on the one year deal…
Finally this disaster of a pick is GONE. He will be injured or under performing expectations by game 4.
