I just can't see why we took this guy... Just seems so redundant when the best wide receiver in the draft is just sitting there. Did Lynch not see what Sanders did for us?

Nah fam he got them redshirts
Hurd and Taylor

Deep receiver draft. I bet Shanny likes some wideout more than any of the WR's that were getting all the run, and hopes to still get him.

Mims????

No. Aiyuk.

I would not be mad about that either. I think I just like Mims a little more because of his size.

Okay, it's wearing off.

I guess its time to get behind our new Niner.

I hope it works.

Might as well at this point. He's definitely the type of dude you want to root for, came from the bottom and now he's heading to the top.

I haven't watched any tape on Kinlaw, but what pro would you compare him too? He seems pretty lean, maybe a poor mans Aaron Donald?

Lean? Dude is 324lbs and like 6-5 lol. He moves like he's not that big though.

If you're gonna come him to someone it's chris Jones

Thanks for the reply. Buckner was a damn good football player, but you pointed out that his skill set wasn't necessarily perfect for the 3t in this D. How does Kinlaw do it that regard? Sorry if the question is repetitive.

No worries. Kinlaw is twitchier and a bit more explosive than Buckner. He's the type of athlete that transcends scheme.

Even tho Kinlaw and Buckner are built similarly, their playstyles are very different. Buckner was a bit more handsy, methodical, and technical. Kinlaw is more of a brute--explosive and violent. Almost Cowboyish.

It's hard to watch the Simms and Baldinger videos in this thread and not get pretty excited about Kinlaw. I wanted a WR, too, but the videos made me change my mind. We'll get a good one later.

Chris Jones. 100%. I kept seeing it over and over again. If you check their combine numbers, they're almost clones in regards to their height, weight, arm length, etc.

Why in NFL talk and not Ninertalk?

One thing that's not being talked about here. It's not a given we'll be able to re-sign DJ Jones. Kinlaw will be our 3tech but we don't know if Jones will be here long term.

Thanks. Good read.
If this guy puts up a bosa like impact on our dline teams will be in even bigger trouble this year vs our dline
The next Richard Seymour
Guy has the potential to be a dominant player with his physical abilities that are rare as hell for an interior player. Hopefully our coaches can mold this ball of clay into an all-pro asap.

Make us proud Kinlaw!
Hope he is good. I am going to be mad if Lynch missed on another DT.
Looks like a dude who can't finish plays
Phoenix is making me come around on Kinlaw. Well that and Aiyuk
