No he hasn't, I initially thought when the whole COVID-19 positive test for a 49ers player happened it was Woerner, because he hadn't signed his deal, every other pick of ours has, I assume he'll sign tomorrow.

He doesn't realize he can't ask for that Levine Toilolo money yet.

Does he have the same agent as Mostert?

I didn't like the pick at first but watched more film of his... I think he does a really good job blocking in space. He should give Kittle some much needed rest which will make him well worth the selection.

Same. His blocking (at least from the games I watched) was incredible. If this guy can catch the ball even a little bit he should be an upgrade over Toilolo.

Yeah I'm really excited about this kid. He was brought in to block but I also think there is some untapped potential to his receiving game as well.

Gotta wonder if he's gonna be a replacement for Juice though? I hope not, I'd love to use more 2 TE sets... this is Juice's last yr under contract.

While FB is super important to this scheme, SF can't afford to pay a FB $6M a yr anymore

Man, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe he can be traded? Who, other than us and Baltimore, uses fullbacks anymore?

I've thought the same. I hope they can bring Juice back. Guy does so much work for this offense that the stat box doesn't catch.

The fullback is still kind of a underused position in the NFL. The 49ers use a fullback more than anyone else. Im hoping the chance to maximize his playing time and stay on a contender will keep him here with a little less.

The flipside is where else is Juice gonna get paid $6m or even close as a fullback? #2 is Baltimore who let him go... then pays their FB ~$4m, then the next 2 highest paid are at $2m.

He's having fun, has a chance at a ring and in a great system, hard to see him going anywhere else even if they only offer him $3-4m for 3-5 years. Unless the Rams try to copy cat and offer him another $6m for 2 years or something like that. Seems like allot of that $6m was luring him to the NFLs worst team... now that the Niners are atop the NFC, the reach around if for him to offer a hometown discount.
