The whole OL should have been at the OL Summit.
They weren't interested though because it was pass protection-centric.

He might have a bigger role this year, might as well learn from the best.

Too bad Woerner doesn't play in KC.

Woerner was a great blocking TE in college, and a so-so receiving TE, sounds a lot more like Kittle than Kelce.

But Woerner doesn't have the speed. Bosa might be faster than him. I'm still hoping for a more athletic TE to develop as no. 2.

Get him and Kittle on the field!
Maybe he can be developed to be another Juszczyk! And cheaper too!

I thought this last year when we drafted him, that he might eventually be a Juice replacement. He is an excellent blocker, and a decent receiver when needed, but it's not like he would get utilized that way, because Shanahan never really used Juice like he said he would the whole time he was here, up until the final weeks of this season.
Sadly, letting Juice go in FA, and using that 5+ million a season else where probably makes sense, especially when we probably have a competent replacement in house for a fraction of the cost.

Totally agree. Also I'd just add that - if Kyle can use his genius at finding running backs, to find a John Riggens/Tom Rathman kind of guy in the undrafted section to use in the 4 minute offense so this team can road grade opposing teams that are behind in the last 10 minutes of the 4th QTR in championship games, that would make my day.
