Holy cow! I know they are only High School stats, but still. It makes you wonder what kind of player the team actually has in Woerner. He may end up surprising people.
Woerner was a four-year starter at Raybun County High School in Tiger, Georgia. The school's enrollment was a little more than 600 students. In 44 career high school games, he rushed for 2,257 yards and 32 touchdowns. He caught 150 passes for 2,696 yards and 28 touchdowns. He registered 272 tackles and 11 interceptions.

I'm excited to see this guy in pre-season and hear the training camp buzz. I wonder if Kittle can rub off on him and improve his receiving game?

Maybe he's the new kittle and they don't need to re-sign the old geezer.

Ya 6'3 might be harder, but look at LBs today, and DL. Our Fred Warner is a 6'3 MLB. So times are changing and the bigger fullbacks might have some value in this league going forward. Especially if they have decent hands, you can throw it up to them over the smaller DB.
Woerner is 6'5. There's something to be said about having natural leverage to get under the pads of LBs on lead blocks. I just don't think Kyle drafted Woerner to replace Juice. I guess we'll see.
Doesn't have to replace him, but be able to play FB at times. The FB position is dying, if not already dead. Few guys are like Juice who can run that well, catch, and still block. I think going forward we won't have a traditional FB anymore once Juice leaves, if we keep Kyle as the HC>
Nah, kyle wants a pair of them. Can you even imagine.?

That would be a great find. Dwelly was a key player against the cardinals last year. More depth at TE is a plus in a long season.
And against N.O, esp on 3rd downs.

This. Maybe they can coach him up to run faster too! Win-win all around.

This team sure knows how to draft a TE. And linebackers.
Everything else I dunno. It's wierd every team has their own specialty drafting. Broncos can pick rb's in any round

Giants have found an idiot proof way to draft TE's. They just pick up whoever we cut.
