He would probably be disappointed in how little it has improved .

That's a really good point and it shows that making rules or trying to force changes are really hard and don't often work. If it's truly a racial bias thing you aren't going to change someone's mind with a rule. I still come back to the money. A lot of the best and smartest players are black and they often get paid the most. They don't need the jobs after they're done playing.

Bill Walsh was a forward thinker and knew that institutionalized racism was present and he couldn't sit back and make excuses for the behavior so he created the first minority coaching program and tried to help a lot of people overcome racism. Rooney also tried to address this, but front offices made a mockery of his rule so now comes the unthinkable hard push.

Kap saw this too, and we all saw his response to racism.

This may not be the best way to move forward but hey, you have to keep pushing until racist behaviors are frowned upon in all sectors of life. Those that want to perpetuate racism can kindly leave my country. Think about how much African Americans have done for this country in free labor alone? Built this country from the ground up! And today African Americans are still treated as second class citizens.

When you hear about African Americans you never hear about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT5Ks1TWF68

or this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJbF9SGB3Yk

We just hear the propaganda about African Americans and crime, this data is created by the same people that promote institutional racism and it is fake news. Most African American people would be just fine if you took away the racism that limits opportunities. But until then...

Kingsbury is a young offensive minded coach which is all the rage in the NFL today. Everyone wants their own McShanahan. Teams were ready to hire him as an OC, the Cardinals took it a step further. So far the jury is still out but they appear to have their QB of the future and be a lot more competitive this season.

Judge comes from the Belichick coach factory where Eric Mangini, Romeo Crennel, Nick Saban, Matt Patricia, Bill O'Brien, Josh McDaniels, Mike Vrabel and Brian Flores also say hi. If you coach under Belichick, the NFL will give you a long look at becoming a head coach, even if most of them have flamed out in spectacular fashion. The thirst is so real that Mangini and Crennel both received multiple shots at being HC's and McDaniels could have as well had he not bailed on Indy.

Idk if that's the answer, but something needs to change. A league that's mostly black players, barely has any black GMs or HCs? Doesn't make sense

Wheres the incentive to hire more white players!

Lol right? We need more Asian runningbacks!

huh???

if there were good asian RBs out there, they would be signed.

the point is, majority of NFL players are black, and there are very few HCs and GMs that are black. not sure wtf this has to do with Asian RBs.

going with that, cant we say if there were good black HCs and GMs, they would be signed?

check and mate

ya, bc there are so many asian players in the league.

Do you are saying your point was dumb and didnt apply here as well?
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell named Jeff Miller the league's new Executive Vice President of Communications, Public Affairs and Policy.

Miller will be responsible for managing NFL's communications and public affairs. He will maintain his health and safety portfolio.

You left out the fact that Judge was a ST coordinator, for 5 years. Wow amazing qualifications.

Kliff Kingsbury failed miserably at Texas Tech, getting fired and then hired by USC as an OC.

Yep. Dave Toub has been a top ST coordinator for 15 years, still hasn't gotten a HC shot. That is the power of working for Belichick.

Brian Flores was a LB coach for the Patriots, got hired as a HC without ever being a coordinator, meanwhile Vic Fangio was a top NFL DC for years before he got a HC job. That is the power of working for Belichick.

Same thing will happen to coaches working under Shanahan if the 49ers experience continued success.

Kliff Kingsbury failed miserably at Texas Tech, getting fired and then hired by USC as an OC.

Yeah but NFL teams decided that his failures had more to do with college recruiting than actual playcalling and game strategy. Arizona did improve last year, they do appear to have acquired their QBOTF so you can't say its looked like a bad decision thus far.

I'll give you Judge, based on just getting touched by Belichick qualifies you to be a HC in the NFL for some reason, even though the history of Belichick's coaches sucks.

The Kingsbury hire was crap though.
