Jeez.........

I cannot get a Daniel Snyder story out of my head. A good friend of mine had daughters who played with Snyder's daughters. One day my friend picked up his girls at Snyder's house as Snyder was arriving home. My friend had not met Snyder but said, "Hey Dan, thanks for having my daughters over to play." The response: "It's Mr. Snyder."

Really?

Not funny dude. Give your food some respect when you eat them. Don't call them by the color of their skin

The concern for me would be that we're just going to start seeing teams remove themselves from anything associating with Native Americans to avoid the headache now and in the future and Native Americans will have very little representation at all.

The other thing to me is I rarely hear anyone championing the causes for Native Americans that will actually impact their lives. You have unemployment, drug addiction, education issues, and a myriad of other problems plaguing Native American communities and granted I know you can chew bubble gum and walk at the same time so you can want the name changed and still champion causes for Native Americans but all mainly hear is how racist the name is and it should be changed.

To me it's like walking up to a starving homeless person and telling him "Good news. We got everyone to stop calling you a hobo since it's offensive." and than walking away.

Whilst I completely agree that Native Americans need help with their problems, I am not sure how having a billionaire owning a team of professional footballers, and calling them by a relatively derogatory name, is actually helping them.

I guarantee that we aren't as irritated by that as we are by "woke" people pretending that we are as thin-skinned as everyone else and need to be protected by those white knights of virtue.

How many people are you speaking on behalf of?

All of the ones I've talked to. That would include a large number of my family, our neighbors, and a good portion of the Mescalero reservation. How about you?

Booyah!

There you go, the Washington Thin-Skins
Wow they actually gave in to the radical left socialistic agenda faster than you can say redskin.
Snyder gonna name like Paul Brown did for Cleveland.

Washington Snyders.
The Washington Warriors? That's pretty pathetic. I guess they figure its the only way they can keep the logo which I have always thought was one of the cooler ones in the league.

Well, had you actually read what I said, I made it fairly clear that I was expressing my own opinion. You on the other hand used the word "we" 3 times in a sentence without identifying who the others were, which is why I asked.

The logo is a nice rendition of a native American brave. Much like the Chicago Blackhawks and unlike the old chief Wahoo that Cleveland used to have. Nothing uncomplimentory about the logo. It's more the name.

They should keep the logo and change the name to Sioux or Cheyennes.

I mean, it works for Florida State Seminoles and Chicago Blackhawks.
