This guy shouldn't be playing I'm concerned for his safety. Really irresponsible of niners to allow this.

It could be his last chance to get a paycheck before his career winds down. Niners probably had him go see specialist doctors about his head injuries to make sure they don't get sued by him or his family as a condition of signing him. If Reed says he can play and passes the physicals why not? Reed can also retire at any time if he wants to.

Get him the Steve Wallace helmet.

Or maybe he should look into the VICIS new helmet.

LET him score one TD on a " Sprint Right Option " and tell him to RETIRE... do the good guy a favor..

If Reed can survive this season, I'll bet he puts up some very nice numbers and takes some pressure off Kittle. He's like a WR in a TE's body, really. Jimmy's gonna love him.

Yeah, agree, but that's a huge "if".

"If" Antonio Brown can stay out of trouble, he'll be an asset

"If" Josh Gordon can keep his head clean, he'll produce.

"If" Jordan Reed can stay healthy, he'll kill it.

There's a reason all of these guys are readily available... They're giant question marks.

Amen, and if he can protect his noggin, and some idiot doesn't pull a helmet to helmet like JimmyG got with 7 mins to go, then he looks like he will excel. In his shoes, i get it but still messing with one''s afterlife (life after football) is not a great idea. Man i hope he makes it and is able to avoid the helmet hit jobs. A 1-2 of kittle and Reed would be some kind of awesome. WRs? Who needs those, with this pair? J/K, but good grief what this O would look like with Reed. Yikes.

I hope he stays healthy and the 49ers protect him from himself. This guy might make catch III if ShanaLynch play their cards right.
