Yeah gonna have a lot of possibilities, Reed can also play the big slot role as well.

I mean Reed/Deebo/Aiyuk at the WR spots, Kittle at TE, and Mostert at RB. That's pretty sick.

There should be plenty of weapons from short to deep for Jimmy now, for sure. But Kyle is going to make a special wanton soup using McKinnon and Reed as secret ingredients.

I hope he stays healthy and the 49ers protect him from himself. This guy might make catch III if ShanaLynch play their cards right.

When guys get tired, their reflexes slow down, and they are much more prone to injury. Maybe the key to Reed's longevity (# of plays/game) should be way less, making real sure he isn't tired going out onto the field. Wondered about this before, but when you have a guy like Reed, it sure seems reasonable to do all you can to protect him, and maybe keeping him off the field if he starts to get a tad tired, might be key for him staying healthy.

We have to see him play first, but kittle/Reed together with Trent T, Deebo, Aiyuk, Jet, Au Jus, who knows, maybe Dante., plus any one of 3 other RBs...just looks like overwhelming receiving firepower to make other teams just throw up their hands and say, "no mas".

I'd consider 30 catches a huge success for Reed. Doesn't seem like much, but for a comparison, Delanie Walker never had more than 29 in a season for us.
Am I the only one who wants to see a jumbo set with:

Deebo
Kittle
Reed
Juice
Mostert

So much nasty...
hope he can give us some production before he takes another hit to the head and retires

That's nasty and puts the defense in a tough situation. Play Reed as a WR or a TE? If they play him like a TE, then put him in the slot like a WR. If they play him like a WR, then pack it in tight and run the ball.
For the past few weeks, all I heard out of "camp" was J. Reed is killing the LB's and defense. When Kittle went down, why not use him. I get keep Kittle for a decoy or blocker, but is this not the reason why he was brought in?
He made some catches but was largely omitted from the game plan. Shanahan had some cryptic messaging regarding the passing game esp the wideouts saying the plays called werent schemed for them, implying he was mainly trying to focus solely on the rbs from what I gather which can be a reason why he was forcing the ball to McKinnon it seemed like, which could explain why Reed wasnt as involved. This is pure speculation from me however.

Reed's run blocking is borderline lol. Maybe I've been watching too much of Kittle run blocking.

LOL, is it one of those kinds where he's saying, "As long as my helmet doesn't touch his, I won't get a concussion."

If I could mind read I think that's what he's thinking. The first guy he let through is fine, that's what he's supposed to do, but the "block" on the second guy is lol.
Dude is like 1 glancing blow away from being carted off. I have zero expectations.

He's a big slot WR at this point. I wouldn't ask him to run block inline. He's never been a good run blocker and playing with a soggy melon won't help that.
