Former Washington Football Team Pro Bowl TE Jordan Reed reached agreement on an incentive-laden, one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers, sources tell ESPN. Reed is 30, has a history of concussions, but when healthy - as he is now - he is one of the game's elite tight ends.

Called it! Love it.
Yup this has been talked about for a couple months...incentive laden deal. Low risk/high ceiling.
As far as contractual details go: Jordan Reed's deal is reportedly incentive-heavy. Since he didn't play in '19 those incentives are Not Likely To Be Earned (NLTBE).

I presume it's built close to a league-minimum base salary, so Reed's deal won't incur a big 2020 salary-cap hit
When cut downs start taking place they can save $5-6M real easy...use that for a Kittle signing bonus and let's put that s**t in the past.
