Maybe after the draft if they don't take one.

That's what I think. Should be a lot of action with the veteran free agents after the draft and UDFA signing frenzy. Hoping we get lucky and can land Brevin Jordan in round 4. Because I'm hoping for round 4, this is why I'm calling it luck. We'd have an All-Pro TE and a damn good backup. I'd still sign Reed for vete minimum. Imagine the three TE sets in the redzone, short yardage, and on goal line
He's retiring

Sad he only got one year with us. Did he even get to play any snaps with Kittle?

Shucks but probably the smartest move for him.
Great career, he showed he can still play. Was a force last year.

REED - u earned my respect buddy !! I was hoping that you retired last year because of the concussion history, but I know you just had to play one last time and prove yourself that you really are a VERY GOOD PLAYER !!

MUCH RESPECT !!

I hope you can stay and be our WR/TE coach so that no good Welker can go back to Denver !!

he did a nice job for us. maybe we can get a nice tight end in the draft
why did this guy retire???? yes i know his concussion history. but he had a solid season last year with us an didnt get hurt or concussed like he used to. he came in an made some really good catches at crucial times to move the ball for us. he could have been a real dangerous weapon on our O with kittle an everyone returning. the guy is a great pass catching TE. we lost out here. did the concussions or some other injury come back or get worse?? i dont get it.

maybe kind of like alex. he wanted one more shot but knew that he did not and could not go to the well to often or he could get f**ked up for life. i think he did a wise thing

i appreciate people like him and staley who retire before the draft unlike some other people who waited till after the draft to quit and then it put us in a bad bind. no names mentioned but their initials are borland and davis

Maybe we're using the QB talk as a smoke screen for Pitts
Wish we could've seen Kittle and Reed for a full season

not sure what or how you look at Welker.... but IT DOESN'TTTTTT MATTTERRR who you look at him.. (The Rock) .. lol

.. what matter is that the WRs that he's in charge of and his decision to feed Shanny the wrong information of which guys should get a chance to play just tells you we don't know coach Welker here..

He's gotten his experience here, so I think it's time to move on.. WHY not offer the position to Reed.. how is it going to hurt ..
