Kwon, Dee Ford, Richburg
If they go outside the formula, they're desperate.
lol well considering how many teams Kyle/Saleh and the rest of the coaching staff have been apart of you can do the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" with this FO/coaching staff pretty easy
Haha. I love that one. And it (mostly) works too so let's go with that going forward!
What in the royal f**k. NY, are you David Lombardi? This is like the 3rd time. WHO IN HERE IS DAVID LOMBARDI? LOL
This is a recurring theme for just about any coaching staff, but Kyle Shanahan especially has tended to sign players he's familiar with. Kyle and Mike Shanahan drafted new 49ers TE Jordan Reed in 2013's third round. That was their last season in Washington

Exactly what David would say. We're on to you David

Everyone is talking about 2-TE sets. Well, I'm looking forward to writing about the George Kittle, Jordan Reed, Charlie Woerner three-tight end set that the 49ers eventually use. Bunched goal line formation that turns into aggressive play-action

Yes. With two good TE receiving threats (Kittle/Reed), I think Kyle will start using three TE sets more. He did this with a lot of success in ATL but hasn't used it much in SF. Even with Reed being a liability in run blocking (from what I've read), 13 personnel suggests heavy run personnel so playaction out of this with two TEs that can motor and get downfield will be dangerous.
How about 23 personnel with Mostert, Juice, Kittle, Reed, Woerner. Does the defense even place a CB on the field? If Reed still has his agility, this pickup can add a new dimension to the offense.

Imagine this look with Hurd at RB. Good luck knowing what's coming!

He's already ball-less. I'll just have to get a pup and take his alpha-hood from him for the bets sake. Anyways, good move on the signing.Originally posted by Chief:Originally posted by NYniner85:Originally posted by Force_Choke:SF pulls the rug out on the Seahawks. Adams is good but not good enough to cover them both at the same time. Since it's incentive laden I bet my dogs balls he stays healthy.
IF (big IF with health) I'd love to see some 12 personnel of Kittle/Reed/Jet.
You didn't get your dog fixed?

So many combinations Kyle can throw out there to massively confuse the defense. Super excited.

Pair that heavy run offense you stated above ^^ (it was 2nd in the NFL in rushing last year) with a dominating and stifling defense (number 1 in pass defense) and you have a team that will strangle opposing teams in terms of yardage and time of possession. P.S. I can see a dose of Air Coryell coming into play sometime mid season to screw up opposing defenses.

NC, you and Lombardi have been going at each other in the Offensive Line thread. It's been a classic debate too!
