Mahomes was put into the ideal situation from the start. Alex has always been a great person and had great work ethic. Andy by having mahomes sit behind Alex for a year and just study is 70% of the reason mahomes is so good.

This situation has reaffirmed the old arrangement of having qb draft picks sit and learn behind veterans to be significantly more successful.

Alex has always had a great mind for the game but not the physical tools mahomes has. Mahomes was able to absorb and learn everything he had to offer with a much better physical skill set.
