Not sure I'd want him taking a roster spot but I'm glad he's still around

Sometimes WRs develop late. Look at Perriman... he was a first round bust who bounced around teams. Then got a shot at the right time after a few years and showed he can actually play in the league.

Hope this happens especially if James goes on IR
WRs will never develop if you don't let him play...

I was hoping this guy will get his chance rather than signing SANU..

White has sucked his entire career...with plenty of opportunity he's shown nothing.

Disagree, White has been hurt for most of his career which stunted his growth as a NFL receiver. I think if he stays on the practice squad and healthy, he should be able to revive his career with Shanahan, I don't see why not.

What makes you think that Jimmy would throw to the non-slot WR before the second half of the 4th quarter?

THROW OR NOT THROW...

the point here is that.... SHANNY has given BOURNE, PETTIS, TAYLOR chances after chances at the WR position... nothing against those 3 because I do like them, but all they've done thus far is be SUPER during OTAs...

so, the point I'd like to make is WHY not see what White can do now that he's healty?? give him the chances he's given his other pets.. IF it doesn't work out, then move on, at least a chance was given to him..

IT SHOULD not be any different w/Sanu, this new guy will get every chances because he once showered with Shanny in Atlanta, so I want to know what he and Lynch saw in Kevin White for them to sign him.. but NOT give him the chance?
Kevin White is activated for Miami game. This is what I was waiting for. Time to see what this kid can do with a good qb in Jimmy G.

It's too bad the OL won't give him much time to throw to them
True, but hopefully that can get better with Richburg coming back soon...
I'm looking forward to seeing what White can offer, that's if Shanahan gives him many reps, if Deebo is playing it'll be Deebo, Aiyuk, Bourne and Taylor playing the most snaps at WR, honestly, I'm done with Taylor, and close to being done with Pettis(I'd rather see him succeed due to him being a 2nd rd pick, and I want to see him finally be a dynamic PR).

White as big slot

I mean if he's healthy and on the field, dude is the prototypical XWR. Physically speaking, you can't make a better one in a lab. Dude has all the physical traits you could want.

Don't hold your breath, tho. He's more likely to get hurt than make a catch.

Who makes their 1st catch White or Pettis?

Greg Papa said during White's time in Training Camp that he really stood out and was the best WR on the field during the practices he watched. Papa went on to say the combination of White's ability plus his great size for a WR immediately got and kept his attention. We'll see, but maybe with a good QB in Garoppolo, White can be an improved player and hopefully make some kind of impact.
THE WHITE SHADOW !!!!

LETS GO DEEEEEPPPPP !!!
