The Mike Mamula of WRs. Great Combine #s. That's it.

That's why when Aiyuk did a 4.6 with a core injury I wasn't worried. And I am not worried about Jennings' timed speed -- he plays fast AND MEAN.

Wow 4.6 now.

Sorry, 4.5

The point being that he is way faster than either of those numbers

Meh, #2 Rushing in the league last year, they aren't going to be passing a lot.
I actually wanted us to draft him...but even I can't get excited about this signing now. Too many injuries, and route running was never his strength.

That 4.3 speed though... that probably got Kyle drooling.
If Austin improves our punt return and kick off return game we take our team to another level. It was already the best team in the league or at least top 2. If our special teams gets better by just a bit we are easily the best team in the NFL. So I think we have to keep Austin because obviously we can't rely on Pettis. Please no more watching James Junior catch punts and either run out of bounds or call a fair catch

He has had leg injures can he still run?

If he couldnt run I dont think shanny would have signed him. Even if he is only a camp body.

...or tackled upon first touch.
He's a guy to possibly stash on the practice squad if they see flashes of his old form. But there's not enough time for him to earn a spot on the 53.

Yeah, I liked him coming out of college, but he was just ravaged by injury his whole time in the NFL. Maybe, he's healthy now and has something to prove.

This is what kind of surprised me by the signing. Shanny has always coveted good route runners. I think now he's really focused more on speed. This also tells me that Shanny's really gonna exploit teams underneath with TE's and RB's out of the backfield. Shanny is gonna have at least 2 sub-4.4 guys on the field. Defenses are gonna have to respect that and play off, or get beat deep.

I'm expecting Jimmy G. to have a monster year. His completion numbers is gonna be off the charts.

Hopefully he can revive his career, guy was unbelievable at West Virginia.

Guy wore #11 and looked a lot like Julio Jones in college. Then he went to the Bears and injuries derailed his career. Total flier signing by Shanahan. Could work out, but most likely won't.

I know. But he was a real disappoint for the Bears. They talk bad about him here in Chicago. I never though the Bears used him correctly though. Maybe he does revive his career because I know Shanny 's gonna use him properly, if he makes the team.

Trubisky isn't exactly the best at spreading the ball around. Injuries screwed up his career early and didn't seem to recover from it in Chicago. When he went to Arizona, I read he was listed as the #3 receiver, not bad IMO, but again hamstring injury hurt him there.
