Practice squad both White and Austin or one of them. Continue their acclimation and learning of the system while at the same time getting their bodies acclimated too, injuries bugged these supposedly highly touted players coming out of college. Injury with our core receivers kind of common circumstance yearly though so you have these two as hopefully solid reserves. If they'll be taken off waivers, so be it. Oh wait, I forgot the new rule. They can be in one of those restricted right.
I'd love to see this talent succeed. Maybe being a bit older, he understands the work needed. I didn't like the video of the out route posted, looked a little loose. I'm cautiously optimistic.

It was warmups, only SF can post videos of actual practice reps I believe.

Im rootin dor him after watching this video. Can kyle resurrect his career the way he did Mostert?

We're a great team for reclamation projects like this.

Exactly and Kevin never gave up he didnt make the cards last year cuz they drafted like 4 receivers lol. But over here hes fasho better than Jennings and Austin. Hes big and fast he ran a 4.3 they say he still pretty fast. With Deebo and Aiyuk hurting White might be able to make some noise potentially he can be our best receiver (besides deebo) if he can live up to his draft status. Just pray he stays healthy!
THIS offense should be perfect for WHITE... I'm really hoping he'd make it over Austin and that we can trade Pettis and get White his chance..

Pettis is working hard and impressing Shanahan, he's not going anywhere. Tavon Austin has return ability, something he has over White, no way White makes the team. IMO, practice at best.

White hasn't done s**t in his career, he should be on the PS at best, not on the 53 where his salary is GTD for the season.

I'd love for both White and Austin to sign to the teams PS, but we'll see.

All our receivers are hurt Bournes our best receiver right now. Taylors a good training camp receiver but he doesnt really do much in real games he averages less than 10 yards per reception he'll get a nice lil 3rd down catch here n there but hes limited and he always gets hurt every year hes too small n fragile, pettis has potential he just needs to man up, jennings aint gonna do much as a rookie. If kevin whites healthy id put him in whats the worst that can happen he might shine and if not cut him. Our receivers are lacking especially if deebo and aiyuk aint 100% this is exactly why u dont pass on guys like courtland sutton and dj chark and ceedee lamb. We're gonna have to spend an early pick on a receiver every year it seems like.
Like we are going to throw the ball, I see a few passes in the first half then all run run run run run
Pulling for the guy, he seems to be brittle though.

Lots of broken bones. He and Ward should compare notes, figure out how it's happening.

Yeah. I like Whites ability, but his availability shows we can't depend on him being there. Austin, could be something though for returns. Heck, I would think that would make Richie James expendable.

We need Austin for returns. If our special teams improve which it will with him we are the best team in the nfl

I think so too. James was great and didn't fumble anything until the superbowl. I think having Austin back there is a legitimate threat. If we can get better on Field Position on both sides of the ball, that's going to put less pressure on our offense and defense and who knows how that impacts the game.

So excited for the next few weeks to see who makes the team.

At the very worst I hope he can be one of our practice squad players that we can activate during game days and also protects from week to week. I hope he will be OK with that because he has a very good possibility of winning a Super Bowl if he stays with us

Austin has had his fair share of muffed punts. I've been traumatized so I actually prefer the 'fair catcher/3 yards per return' guy that can confidently catch the ball over a guy that is an adventure back there, whether good or bad.
