Our players stated that they found it stickier. They are getting their feet/ legs caught in it.

Rypien would've been another nice QB to develop here for Kyle. He reminded me a lot of Kirk Cousins at Boise St. Bummed they didn't sign him when they had the chance.

This. It is getting ridiculous and is going down a bad path IMO. Some of these running QBs seem to look for the flag every time they're even touched when they slide last minute (hello Kyler Murray). I can easily see a time when one of these QBs does a last-minute fake slide and doesn't go down but the defender lets up in fear of a penalty and then the QB continues on for a key 1st Down or TD...that would really be a turn off and would infuriate some fans.
