It's easy to say the Chiefs are unbeatable when nobody else has played yet. I am sure other teams will look unbeatable also when they play their 1st game.

Lol
That game was so predictable. The Chiefs stomp their opponent every year in week 1. I feel like Houston always begin the season sluggish. History tends to repeat itself.

Chiefs did not look "unbeatable", the Texans are just bad. Chiefs will not win the SB this year. MARK. MY. WORDS.
GO 9ers!!!

I switched to the Giants baseball game when it was obvious that the Chiefs were in control. I agree about the commercials. Every time I would change channels to check the score there was a commercial. Too many commercials in football games. Actual action is between 11 and 15 minutes. The other 3 hours are commercials, huddles, and play reviews.

Why not? The NFL dressed up a Black Lives Matter Tribute event and attempted to pass it off as a game. The few fans allowed inside the stadium saw right through the BS and registered their displeasure as they have every right to do. I could only watch one quarter of it before I snapped the game off.
The league has made a decision that is going to annoy the heck out of the vast majority of the fan base.

The majority of the population supports black lives matter. Polls vary between 60 and 70 %. Fans like football and I doubt that they will refuse to watch their team because of a show of support. If it bothers you then don't watch. You're only punishing yourself.

2018 and 2019 playoffs say otherwise, they get screwed by the refs just as hard as the 9ers in the Super Bowl(s).
Worry about that old guy in Tampa, show everyone 'it was me not Belichek'.

People who scream "UNFOLLOWED!! NOT WATCHING!!" etc etc, after someone supports something.. I don't understand. No one cares. If you're going to let someone's platform affect you that much, I don't buy that you were ever really any more than a casual observer to begin with.
Outside of 1 minute to start the game, the demonstrations or protests don't come up or impact whatsoever throughout the actual the time they're playing... So, you're going let 1 minute ruin 3 hours of your football viewing experience? At that point, that's on you.

The "majority" you speak of does not come remotely close with supporting the rioting, burning and looting that BLM has allowed itself to become associated with. I don't know what poll you're looking at.
The people who attended last night's game certainly did not approve. Overnight ratings show a 16-percent drop in viewership. Which, I suspect, is much higher. Sort of like the general distress showed by fans which NBC attempted very hard to mute out.
I think that the league has made a decision to go forward with this charade, even if it does cost them a significant portion of the fan base. They have decided they can do without them. So be it.
