The people who attended last night's game certainly did not approve. Overnight ratings show a 16-percent drop in viewership. Which, I suspect, is much higher. Sort of like the general distress showed by fans which NBC attempted very hard to mute out.
I think that the league has made a decision to go forward with this charade, even if it does cost them a significant portion of the fan base. They have decided they can do without them. So be it.
People are confusing the BLM protests with the rioters and looters. They're a small percentage of the people that are marching and protesting. There is a portion of the population that will use any excuse to riot and loot. People are looting vacated homes during the fires. probably the same type of people. That's the same as saying every white conservative supports Nazi and white supremacist groups. Those hate groups are a small percentage just like the rioters. News focuses on them because they make a better story than just watching people peacefully march.

Yo I gotta stop it right here. This is a football subforum. If you guys want to get into the nitty gritty of social issues, then use the Parking Lot subforum.

Sorry. The players are going to do what they want so there's no sense in arguing over it.

I'm not gonna let politics affect my support of my 49ers and ruin my excitement of watching their games.

Outside of 1 minute to start the game, the demonstrations or protests don't come up or impact whatsoever throughout the actual the time they're playing... So, you're going let 1 minute ruin 3 hours of your football viewing experience? At that point, that's on you.
Bunch of cry babies who want attention that are lying cause they are gonna watch football anyways let's be honest.
The moment they see their team is down by 3 with 2 min left in the redzone...BS your not gonna tune in!

The Bears and Saints (if Brees retired) tried to sign Tom Brady too.

Yep. Dorsett is out for us and our D line is paper thin so not sure about today. Going in blind but so is everyone else lol
Teams that turn it over less and play the best red zone defense will come out on top today.
