I'm advocating for speed at receiver that Shanahan could do wonders with. Provides much more than Thomas does

Its not about speed alone. You still need to be able to get open and catch the ball. Ross does that less consistently than Goodwin has and Goodwin blew last year. Goodwin lost defenses respect and stopped positively impacting our offense, I'd expect no different from Ross. Aiyuk will hopefully provide the speed and hands we need.

Niners have the early game this week. That might be a good thing for their offense to get a sense of urgency, build a big first half lead and then play solid D. The 49ers are still a very elite team. Anyone that's writes them off after the first few weeks doesn't know football

Bears signed Tarik Cohen to 3-year extension worth over $5 mill per. Why? He's done hardly anything and was supposed to be like a dual-threat back but he's basically been crap. I should say he's totally underachieved. This is the kind of move a GM makes when he knows his ass is getting ready to be out the door.
