It's not time yet my guy.

Okay, NOW it's time.

Best ever!

:)

I had to keep jumping to Photoshop at the commercials. Probably missed a few classics.

But I loved the Paramount stuff.

I think this game proves what a lot of people have been saying after our season ended, the line must be addressed and upgraded. You can have mahomes at QB and it wouldn't even matter if he has pressure in his face all day. Resign Trent Williams, pick up Alex Mack in FA and find a replacement for LG and RT in the draft or trade. McGlinchey can't be the answer he has regressed every year since being drafted. Tomlinson has been solid I think he should keep his RG spot.

Tomlinson plays LG. McGlinchey has only had one down year and that was this season. Not sure what he did to prep for it but he needs to add some good weight and come back ready to play, especially if he wants a nice new contract from someone.

The main issue is and has been C as long as they bring back Williams. Due to the Richburg injury, they had to throw out Garland in the SB last year and he got used and abused by Chris Jones all game long. Alex Mack is practically begging the 49ers to sign him, a reliable, veteran center that stays healthy and knows the offense. They should do that along with drafting a future replacement for him in a draft class loaded at the position.

This kinda sucks, because I really believe last years 49er team was better than the Bucs.

If we play Kansas City without their two tackles we would've smoked them.

If the refs call last year's game like this year's game, we smoke them.

Agreed.

Those are two back up tackles. Trent Williams and yes, McGlinchey, would do a lot better than those to. It would still be hard. That's three high first round picks along with Shaq Barrett coming at you. But all we need is one guard and Alex Mack, and McGlinchey needs to get in the weight room or something.

Yeah, but it also validates the fact that you need a guy back there that stays healthy and gets the job done.

Kyle haters have arrived and on schedule.

Not haters..just pointing out the fact that his ego and idiot playcalling cost us number 6

Jimmy missing reads, especially on two key red zone third downs, and missing Sanders is what cost us 6. But Jimmy truthers wouldn't see it even if you play the tape in slow motion where he misses the wide open guys and throws short, costing us 8 points in a game we had a ten point lead in the 4th quarter of.

Nah the thing that people overlook about the sanders play is that it was such a stupid play to begin with.

Even if sanders catches it it leaves mahomes with a huge amount of time to score again even if he scores. It was an idiot call even if he completes it. The shanny homers blame garapollo but it was a stupid play even if he completes it.

We needed to milk time and score. Not let mahomes get the ball back. That's all on shanny eating his own hype sandwich thinking he's smarter than everybody else. It was a dumb play even if it worked.

I must be forgetting something about that game

Your talking the 3rd and 10 bomb to sanders where garapollo overthrew him? Yeah that was a dumb play even if he completes it for the reasons above.

If your talking a different play I would have to know which one.

What is Mahomes line in SBs now?
So can we agree this team should invest their capital to keep improving the trenches and not trading the farm for Watson?

The 49ers were down 24-20 at that point. You take points then take your chances. Calling it dumb is... a take.
I had totally forgotten Brady was throwing pick sixes early in the season. I thought he was old and done then

Nice post. I've been preaching this bigtime. Mahomes looked like garbage even when he had time. The excuse???? Both tackles out. But at least he had all his playmakers
A top 5 QB is not going to stop Mahomes. But a great pass rush will. And before people bring up last years SB, our Pass rush did stop him. For 3 quarters atleast. And that was without any holding calls on their Oline. Mahomes has also struggled vs the Chargers who have a good pass rush.

he really doesn't

What?????

He doesn't throw the ball with more velocity

Brady has more zip, touch, and just a better arm than Jimmy. Brady throws a much better ball.

They are different throwers. Jimmy has the fastest release in the NFL but it comes at a cost because he doesn't step into his passes it's all upper body and why he can wait so long attempt a pass...Brady's arm actually got better as he matured because his mechanics became better with coaching and his awareness in the pocket let him use his entire body to pass the ball.

Jimmy has one of the fastest releases (I'd say Rodgers is probably tops), but his arm isn't his problem. It's his feet. Jimmy does this thing where he doesn't rotate his hips right and get his legs involved right, and it leads to erratic accuracy on passes where arm strength along isn't going to get it done. Brady has perfect mechanics, so he'll never have this problem.

But upgrading Jimmy with a new player is no easy task. This isn't Madden. So Jimmy needs to fix his mechanical errors (which will fix his inconsistent accuracy), and he needs to improve his field vision. He does that, and he'll be a very good QB. Because as you say, the release is there, including off platform stuff.
