Who is the best pocket passer under 30? It's a dying style of play as they're not even being developed in college. Pretty much everyone wants the duel threat. So Tom, Brady, Rodgers they can still win but get used t to the mobile QB going forward.

This is getting good.

My goodness they really are spoiled children.

What a horrible look for his family. Pat should be embarrassed.

Their better secondary, they were able to contest most of those backyard passes downfield by Mahomes while he was scrambling.

Their pass rush was better as a unit than Niners. Especially the DE. They were quick to chase down Mahomes, made him doing figure 8 trying to get away. We had Bosa, but a gimpy Ford. He could rush the passer, but can't chase anyone down when he get there. As I'm writing this, I'm with replacing Ford.

O thi k the Chiefs banged up Oline made the Bucs d line look great. If we had played against this oline we would've probably won especially if we got the calls the Bucs did.

Really hilarious yo hear Chiefs fans complain about refs. We played in a SB where an OPI was called but not a single defensive holding. No way that was a properly reffed game.
Freaking hilarious. I don't have any hate for Andy Reid. Love the guy as a coach. But his players are a bunch of crybabies. They were helped all the way to the Super Bowl by officiating, and then they start crying of course the moment their BS actually starts getting called. Just lmfao. Love how the article talks about the Niners players being classy and taking the high road after the BS calls we got last year.

"The Chiefs lost by 22 points. They didn't score a touchdown. Their star quarterback threw two interceptions. But of course, it's all on the officiating.

Interestingly enough, we did not hear a whole bunch from the San Francisco 49ers after Chris Jones and his Chiefs came back to win in last year's Super Bowl. That game included some questionable calls against San Francisco. It's a football game. The human element is involved. Blaming the officials is a major cop-out.

This really doesn't paint Chris Jones in the best of lights. You lost by more than three touchdowns. Take it like a professional and move on."

I heard that Mahomes ran for 497 yards yesterday..............behind the line of scrimmage. He was under constant pressure from the opening series. They barely even tried to run early on and the never adjusted their blocking. They went with 5 blockers 92% of the time. Kind of a poor job from Reid in making adjustments.

TRUTH

This is why I see the 49ers focusing on the offensive line, specifically tackle, guard and center in that order, in the upcoming draft.

The best young QB in the NFL was reduced to average status because he didn't have the playmakers up front to give him time to work his magic.

Skill players mean nothing without that all important line up front.
Man I love Tom Brady. Besides the obvious 49er fan San Mateo connection it always feels like he unknowingly sticks up for the niners. I remember the Sherman beef where he called the dude out and now after we got our superbowl taken from us via getting our receivers held and our defense linemen held he comes back kicks their butts and wins no.7.

Thanks Tom for kicking their butts after they bullied up your kid brother the year before.

I mean, last year Jimmy played the SB with a banged up Staley, a backup Center and Mike Person at RG.
Even in his 2017 run Jimmy had Beadles, Fusco and Kilgore starting.
Will this FO build a legit OL around Jimmy G to see what he can do with some decent pass protection?

I think so. I believe that is the reason why Trent Williams remains unsigned. My hope is Lynch and Shanahan dedicate the high picks in this draft to beefing up the line. But I have no crystal ball.

Hopefully Jimmy G will spend the offseason with his "big brother" and relearn some things.

Like what? He could sleep with Tom (sorry Gisselle) and it wouldn't help. It's not between the ears with Jimmy. He just can't stay healthy and I don't think Brady can do anything about that.

Does he work out with Brady's QB coach in the off season?
The chiefs are one of worst teams in the league that hold on offense, hold on defense, and interfere with passes. They finally got exposed. Now they are whining about the calls. How does it feel? If we had yesterday's game called the same way last year, we would have had our sixth title (not making excuses for some poor decisions by our team).

and even extending the play with his feet he looked downfield and saw nothing.

when wilson rolls out you know a deep dime is coming. the giants made the adjustments and took away the deep ball and the chickens copped the L. his longest pass that game was to chris carson (!) for twenty something yards.

todd bowles had their number the WHOLE game. not just the OL, the routes and zones, doubling at the right time, and taking all their lunch money.

the passes his teammates let doink off their helmets had bucc hands everywhere. the chiefs are used to being WIDE open and relatively uncontested a lot of the time.

Except the penalties were on the KC defense. That wasn't the problem last year. It was their O line holding which wasn't called much yesterday.

KC went up against a QB that had more star power than theirs. So they stopped getting the calls. Too bad, so sad.
