Had to put a post in about Larry Wilson. He played 13 years for the Cardinals was all-pro 8 times. Leads the Cardinals in interceptions all time with 52. I remember being at Yankee Stadium (late 60's I guess) the Giants are playing the Cardinals and Larry Wilson is playing with two broken hands. He has a club on each hand, fingers aren't visible. He intercepted a pass. They were going to put a statue outside of Busch Stadium (the only one there was Stan Musial's), 80k was collected. He said no thanks, donate the money to the Children's Hospital.

Though he may have played well before my time, it certainly hurts as a fan of the sports to see that generation of legends slowly depart. May he Rest In Peace.
