Does this season's SB champs already have an asterisk*??

C'MON fellas... it's not different than a great player getting injured during the playoffs or prior to the playoffs..

best sample was when Carson Palmer got hurt against the Steelers, that changed the outcome of the game and the outcome of the playoffs.

or even a better team getting upset (Chargers over Pittsburgh) ... the fact is, IF this is your year and it's meant to be, then the chips will fall on you spot...

our 1987 team still to this day is ONLY second to the 1984 49ers as far as being the best, but too bad, the Vikings upset us..
Not as much as the lakers fake championship. What a joke that is. Should have 4 asterisks.
If your rival wins a Lombardi then yes. If your team wins a Lombardi then no
Yes. It's completely different than a play just getting injured

To be fair, they were the best team before covid

They played all the regular season games basically, had a 7 game series each playoffs. Players didnt miss time with covid. The only difference was no fans. But sure, it should count less than this covid league being played. Lol

Depends who wins the title:
Browns:sure

Seahawks: nope
Niners are going to miss the playoffs because of Covid, so I say yes. Even the injuries is largely because of the lack of pre-season which is because of Covid. The Amount of injuries around the league is at an all-time high and that can't be a coincidence. Then you throw in that some teams are allowed fans and other's aren't. I don't think the Niners lose to the Eagles or Cards if they have fans.

Great points about the injuries especially the niners. Also, the crowd noise for sure makes a difference at least 3-7 points. That's why bookies give the home team 3 points. That was all the difference in the cards and Eagles games.

In the end at least we have a better draft pick with those 2 less wins.
This seasons legitimacy took a huge hit for me this past Thursday when despite all the COVID cases the game was still played. My issue is earlier in the season the NFL accommodated teams such as the Titans and Kansas City Mahomes's by pushing back their games or rescheduling.

I'm not saying that pushing the Packers game to Sunday or Monday would have saved our season but there was nothing that should have kept the NFL from postponing the game a few days as they did for the Chiefs/Bills Thursday night game. They wouldn't have had to reschedule or shuffle any other games either. It was just absurd to continue as scheduled while the Niners were missing their entire offense (obviously not all because of COVID).

then those f**kers had the audacity to review our procedures for violation of safety policy. you know that b***h Goddell was hoping he was gonna be able to dock us a draft pick or two

hell yeah, huge asterisk shouldn't even count this year, but if the 49ers somehow make it and win it all then HELL NO!

Asterisks CHAMPS!

So this just adds to my point earlier. The NFL has now accommodated the Titans, Chiefs and now the Ravens by pushing their games back due to COVID concerns but felt it was okay to leave the Niners shorthanded on their Thursday night matchup.

Hope the Super Bowl champs this year enjoy their asterisk as much as the Lakers are.
