So this just adds to my point earlier. The NFL has now accommodated the Titans, Chiefs and now the Ravens by pushing their games back due to COVID concerns but felt it was okay to leave the Niners shorthanded on their Thursday night matchup.

Hope the Super Bowl champs this year enjoy their asterisk as much as the Lakers are.

Bingo. All the teams getting league help are the ones who have QBs that sell jerseys.

The NBA was played in a bubble. There is no asterisk to the Lakers' championship. All teams had equal playing conditions.

The NFL on the other hand is such a giant POS this year. Between some teams having fans and some others, the league accommodating some teams and not others and just generally a s**t product all the way around.

The NFL has been going downhill or years now. Expanding the playoffs, diluting the product by trying to add more games, rule changes to make it impossible to touch a QB, rule changes to make it impossible to play defense and I could go on and on.
Yes. Dodgers lakers and this year's superbowl winner, all asterisks.

Especially the Lakers.

The team that played and full season and the league that had no covid issues has the biggest asterisk? Not the NFL covid league or MLB 60 game season? Lol. Amazing logic.

Anytime you play all your games in a neutral site without fans and without traveling with several months off for a playoff run, yes asterisk.

Lol. If you want to give it an asterisk, fine, but to say it deserves a bigger one than MLB or the NFL, thats just salty warrior fan talk.
Only if teams had to forfeit or play with a bunch of players missing in the playoffs. I can't see the NFL letting that happen. I think it is funny that some people on ESPN think The NHL, NBA, and MLB deserve extra credit, because their championships were harder than a typical year. Total crap ESPN. First no travel (except baseball) , no loud fans, and living in a bubble isn't harder than a regular season plus the time off allowed tired bodies time to rest. MLB had the added advantage of a much shorter season, 7 inning double headers, etc... NFL actually feels pretty normal compared to the other leagues.

* The NBA played 10 less games than a full season.

Thats a terrible opinion.

There is not one single NBA player that would've taken bubble conditions over travel. You understand that they either had to stay in the hotel or go to practice / games. That was it. Most had no family there, there was no going out, it was hotel and bball. Why do you think players like PG13 said he had such a hard time mentally?

Ok. All asterisks. Agreed
Absolutely sports have an asterisk this year.
No, unless it's the Seahawks. Then 5 asterisks.
Yes. All the teams with famous QB´s are getting breaks because of covid while the teams witn no-name QB´s are being forced to play no matter what.

This season the NFL feels more rigged than ever.
I want to see what happens if a few days before the SB and one team loses their QB and 5-10 starters to covid. Does the game go on or get pushed back?
