Hope BYU goes undefeated so they play a great team in a bowl game, get to see Wilson vs real comp, possibly they make the playoffs but doubt it.

EspnHD or somes**t. I think BYU must have a deal with ESPN hahha. I was able to catch the first half. He had two unreal deep throws (that was one of them) that went incomplete. The other was on the money, but DPI

Play Boise State next week, they're a good team and will be the toughest team on the schedule
Had a bad interception. That was a tough throw across the field that he shouldn't have tried, but I believe it was overconfidence in his arm.

I was a big fan of Carr as a draft prospect...you know who else was a fan? Shanahan.
I don't care what had to happen we need this dude. He makes Mahome type throws
Really like his game

Yeah, I see Carr too. BUT I will say Carr was a bit more robotic as a thrower meaning he was very good at operating within the framework of his offense. Wilson isn't as robotic as Carr was.

Oh s**t, I've been trying to figure out who he reminded me of, and it finally hit me: Derek Carr. I loved Carr coming out. Dude was incredible in his first couple years before he broke his ankle, and it looks like's finally returning back to form.

My biggest concern with this guy is the level of competition he's facing. The teams they played so far are lower level teams with the exception of Houston who is only 2-2 with victories over Navy and Tulane. Boise State may be a better test but they're 2-0 with victories over weak teams. So the question will remain how Wilson would look against Big10, SEC or ACC competition.I doubt that he's seeing coverages or pressure like he would from better teams. Jury still out.

This is why scouts evaluate traits.

And Wilson has all the good ones.

I get that and that's fine but it's amazing how traits can vanish in the face of real pressure. He may turn out great but I like to see guys play against better competition. Unfortunately he won't face any great teams unless they end up in a bowl game against someone good.
