Not a bad trade at all.

Why wouldn't the Niners just trade for #4?

What a haul for Houston. Easterby would probably blow all those picks too.

Probably because the Falcons need to take a QB and 49ers wanted Wilson. Increasing chance the 12 pick doesn't land Lance or Wilson.

People getting crazy with the Watson trade stuff. Rams had to pay extra because they had to get rid of Goff's contract and their options for getting a QB in the draft are slim to none.

49ers could move up a couple spots and do just fine.

It just won't load for me, what was the trade and how did we end up with Wilson?

It ended with Miami getting Watson and us getting their pick and drafting Wilson.

Question - Think about Watson, Mahomes, Allen, Herbert etc. they all had "what if's" and question marks.

The question is can Shanahan coach the s**t out of him and mold him into a beast! That's what it's all about imo. Kyle's supposed to be that guy.

So get me the kid who they believe has all the physical tools and now Kyle can break him down and teach him. And Kyle basically passed on every single one of these guys so who knows wth he thinks. lol

I have no problem trading up for a QB even if he sits for a year or two as long as Kyle and co believe it - I'll give it a shot too.

Breaking him down would be the worst thing to do imo. You want him to stay the way he is, a confident risk taker who believes in his ability to make throws. You want him to improve, but you shouldn't try & make him something he isn't. Bo square peg round hole business, as it were.

I disagree, there's nothing in our offense that says you can't be a confident risk taker. All it does is give you the keys to win early in the play if you make the right read.

Mahomes and Rodgers exemplify this. They've learnt to take what is given to them, but if that's taken away they'll use their natural ability.
