Breaking him down would be the worst thing to do imo. You want him to stay the way he is, a confident risk taker who believes in his ability to make throws. You want him to improve, but you shouldn't try & make him something he isn't. Bo square peg round hole business, as it were.

Understood. I actually meant that mentally and from an x's o's perspective. Im assuming his mechanics were already good etc lol

I'd argue JG was a gunslinger when he arrived and now he's timid. So there's that.

Don't be shocked if Jets go defense with their pick. Saleh might try to model his year 1 off of Shanahan/Lynch's year 1 with rebuilding their defense first. If Wilson falls to the Dolphins pick, we have a chance.

There's absolutely a chance they fall in love with Fields though.

How can you say they won't trade up ? When have we been in a position that we needed to trade up like that before with the current regime ?

You call guts at giving 2 firsts and more for a QB that's not going to last 4 years ?
