Understood. I actually meant that mentally and from an x's o's perspective. Im assuming his mechanics were already good etc lolOriginally posted by PuckFarag10:Originally posted by Cisco0623:Question - Think about Watson, Mahomes, Allen, Herbert etc. they all had "what if's" and question marks.
The question is can Shanahan coach the s**t out of him and mold him into a beast! That's what it's all about imo. Kyle's supposed to be that guy.
So get me the kid who they believe has all the physical tools and now Kyle can break him down and teach him. And Kyle basically passed on every single one of these guys so who knows wth he thinks. lol
I have no problem trading up for a QB even if he sits for a year or two as long as Kyle and co believe it - I'll give it a shot too.
Breaking him down would be the worst thing to do imo. You want him to stay the way he is, a confident risk taker who believes in his ability to make throws. You want him to improve, but you shouldn't try & make him something he isn't. Bo square peg round hole business, as it were.
I'd argue JG was a gunslinger when he arrived and now he's timid. So there's that.
