My plan as of today

Trade Jimmy to the highest bidder for a top 75 pick.

All in on Zach Wilson or Lance. Move up if need be (use future 1st and Jimmy pick if you have too).

resign Trent, Hyder, Garland, Verrett, Moseley (RFA), givens (RFA) and let guys like Tarrt/Sherm/Juice/K'won test the waters before offering them something. of the bunch I would want Juice/K'Won back. Extend Warner and Tomlinson.

Figure out the health of Ford/Richburg and go from there. Ford possibly becomes a post june-1st cut. Same with Richburg.

sign a edge rusher on a short-term deal like Tarkk or Kerrigan. Corey Linsley/Andrews are options at center (there's actually a lot there). maybe go after Keanu Neal at SS. Grab a middle of the road vet CB.

Use the remaining draft picks (should have a 2nd/4th/3 5ths etc) on CB/OL/DB. I like Tyler Linderbaum out of Iowa as a mid round IOL to groom for either center/RG. Possibly a day 1 RG starter. He's a bulldog. Some solid C3 DBs and we need some speed on the outside at EDGE.

Getting a QB is the #1 priority

1) Contingency plan if nobody trades for Garoppolo?

2) Say SF makes the move for a QB in the draft.......do they start Day 1? If not...who does?

I say let him start day 1. All this "knowing the playbook" stuff is great and all, but it should come second to the ability to make plays of the QB who we put out there.

As far as JG is concerned, if nobody is willing to trade for him, he probably gets released and we eat the 2M dead cap hit. Hopefully someone will be willing to trade a 3rd/4th for him though and take his contract from us (year to year team option deal is enticing).

So you believe a rookie QB is better off being thrown to the wolves, learning from example and not leaning (in this case) on vet presence? As opposed to sitting a year or so behind an established pro?

When is Fitzmagic's contract up with the Phins? I'd be good with him taking the reigns until the rook is ready.
Ranking QB fits for 49ers in the 2021 draft

We have a lot of good weapons to help Zach Wilson inmediately. I think Kyle can make things a little bit easy for hm in his first year.

What we would need is a way better pass-protecting O-line and that starts extending Williams because we have nothing behind him.
If we pick in the middle of the pack, do you get him in the first or it's possible he's a second rounder?

I think tonight against Boise St will say a lot. Besides a bowl game this is his only true test.

Reps > sitting on the bench watching others play imo. He could sit for a few games, but not an entire season.
What a s**t camera and field lol

That blue field is a f**king eyesore fa show.
No matter how many times I see it, can't get over how ugly that Blue Hawaiian Punch color field is.

I really like this kid.. he has a fast throwing motion and a good zip on the ball.. athletic and can extend plays.. I can only imagine what shanahan would turn this our into.. I put him 3rd after Lawrence and fields
