His WR's are setting him up for failure.
Now this one was his fault:
I have no idea what happened there.

Now 4/10 for 54 yards with 4 picks thrown in the early 3q. Ouch.

Belichick defense rookie QB baptism by fire. Meanwhile, Sam.Darnold is cooking for Carolina.

Jets on route for 0-17. Time to bring back Saleh

Patriots defense is pretty legit. Can't blame a rookie QB for struggling against the Guru.

He looked shook today. Not even talking about his 4 INT's but he was throwing it into the ground or missing passes by yards down field as the game closed.
It's only game 2 so this could get uglier.

2 of the INTs were on his receivers. He did look a little better in the 2nd half.

He'll be alright, but the Jets are an absolute dumpster fire. Saleh and Wilson have their work cut out turning things around.

Remember when people here we're ready to crown a bunch of rookies because of some preseason throws? Lol

I'd say 3 were on him. One of the INT's that looked like his WR could have caught was placed so high and far away from the guy that it was a miracle he touched it.

He'll have a great career when he is traded somewhere else.

There is struggling and then there is that performance. Dreadful.

It's just crazy to me they went with just gifting the job to a rookie qb, when you've got a first time HC, first time play caller, and a roster that needed a complete overhaul. Should have signed a veteran bridge QB, and let Wilson sit for a bit to ease the pressure and expectations.

The only competition he had was from backup QB Mike White who has never taken a regular season snap in the NFL. Jets GM Joe Douglas didn't bring in a vet or even create any sort of competition for even the #2 job.

They aren't doing him any favors. Becton, their left tackle and best OL by far is out and the coaching has been...eh...
