Playing the better competition doesn't really do much to move the needle for me in this instance. I already have a good idea as to his poise under pressure, his ability to lead the team, and his accuracy and arm strength. Whether his receivers can get open vs better CBs is irrelevant when you already know that he throws an accurate ball and that he isnt afraid to air it out and give his receiver a chance.

What I am interestd to see is his football IQ, and that last play before the half was a head scratcher for sure, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt since it was 4th down, and it's not so simple as to just throw it away if the endzone isnt there.

Looked good outside of the pocket there. Love his release

Start of 3rd and he is 13/17 for 167 yards and has thrown to 6 receivers

Zach Wilson's mechanics suck. His arm talent is that good, tho. He reminds me in many ways of Patrick Mahomes. Arm isn't god-tier like Mahomes, but Wilson has a hose.
