He is someone else who busted at the Jets. But yeah he is getting better of late.

Zach is garbage. Seems like the kid who expects everything to be handed to him.

Yeah.. doesn't have the maturity and the hunger to get better at that age.. NY will eat you alive if you don't show any improvement and he got all the physical tools but didn't get better. Is it from lack of good coaching or just wasn't as receptive and working on his craft? Not one of those all about ball/football junkie. I chuckled looking back in the early pages of this thread as I was also one of them who was in love with his highlights. Can't believe the bust rate of QBs taken in the first round year after year. Poor 808, his son is a bust
Wow, Saleh did us a huge favor.

You spelled Joe Douglas wrong.

I mean maybe he would have turned out differently if we took him. He'd be behind Jimmy, would NOT be given the reigns early, would have to grow up and stop banging milfs. He still has outstanding arm talent. Maybe if he was raised on a team of winners, and sat behind Jimmy, maybe his career would have turned out differently?
Patience is a lost art in the NFL. The Raider sat Jim Plunket till he was ready, the 49ers waited on Steve for years. Geno is a case in point, he was mismanaged early in his career and never reached his potential. Look at him now, he's an NFL QB. Shanahan knows a thing or two about quarterbacks. He could take one of these reclamation projects, have them sit, then take off when the need arises, (and the market always occurs).

So true, but that doesn't work in this new 7on7 version of the NFL.

Shanahan is proving it with the last player taken in the draft. If you can run the ball, control the clock, and have an accurate passer the Arena Football mentality is shattered.

Maybe, it's possible, but 80% of his throws vs Jax were horrible. Very inaccurate. And he doesn't "get it" yet as far as all the things accompanying being a NFL QB. He has decent line, he has pretty good weapons that Mike White seems to utilize just fine. IMO, the game is too fast for him, he looks frantic and rushed in the pocket. Josh Rosen 2.0.
From that class Lawrence is the home run everyone expected, Fields is going to fine once they actually get some legit weapons around him. I have no idea about Lance at this point, Purdy has outshined him in every possible way. Jones and Wilson look like the Rosen and Darnold of this class. IMO
If he get's released, I'd bring him in and let Shannahan coach him up. As a backup investment that we could turn into picks in the future.

Too expensive for a guy you would have as your possible 3rd stringer. And I am not getting him as the expense of Trey. I still like Trey way better than Wilson.

Wilsons biggest issue may be that he's un-coachable.

Teams should hire a female coach to coach him. Preferably someone in their 40s with big milkers and wide hips. That seems to be what draws his interest.
