Likely awful. BYUs offense has lots of passes outside the numbers and throws past 10 yards

That's who I'm eyeing as well as the Giants. They can take our trash (Ward, Ford and Ahkello) if they want also. Ahkellos old college teammate can vouch for him on the Cowboys.

Spoons a FA

That's the best thing I've read in a while

Unless all 3 starting CBs get hurt, I wouldn't be shocked if he's played his last snap in SF.

HA
Just watched some tape on this kid. I ended up being extremely impressed with him. Very accurate. He can make all the throws you would need to make at the next level. Poise in the pocket. Great at buying more time to throw by scrambiling. Incredibly good at throwing on the run. Has the speed to make plays with his legs when things break down. I do wish he had a little more arm strength but I think he has plenty enough for the next level. I acutally came away shocked how much I liked him. I can see him shooting up draft boards and going in the top 5.

Going to be many disappointed fans when we don't land him. Unless we lose out, relying on potential trades to get a rising QB in the draft is going to be tough. Based on what I have seen and heard I would like to draft him but not getting my hopes up.

The FO should be willing to trade / give up just about anything to get Wilson. If it takes 3 years of first round picks and something more to move up to get him, so be it. We need a QB like him to be competitive long term in this division where R. Wilson, Murray and Goff reside. No more settling for the castoffs of other teams, reclamation projects (Darnold ), or old veterans like Ryan or Cousins. We need to get young and dynamic at the QB position like the rest of the NFL is moving toward. Just my 2c.

The issue is there are many QB needy teams. Another team picking ahead of us could very well have the same idea.

So assuming(and it's still early to assume this) we get like 10th pick but Lawrence/Fields go 1/2. Why would the team picking at #3 take our trade offer instead of an equal offer from a weaker team? I would imagine offering up our 2022 1st rounder or whatever we offer the team in question would assume we'd get back on track.

So it's fun to evaluate these guys and say I want him but until we actually see where we pick, who's in the draft and how things unfold it's pointless.

I'd love to have Wilson here but IMO he's playing out of our range. As beat up as we are I don't see us picking early enough to snag him without the trade up and I simply don't know if we'll make that move or have the ammo to make it.

offer more....don't f**k around and get it done I'd call up NY/Dallas or Miami (have Texans pick). It's a QB and if you think he's your LT FQB then no one will care what you give up down the road.

Can't they do the same lol?
Wish we get him. At the end of the day, Shanahan will probably destroy his career too.

If we're the team offering more than the other teams in a trade, then the team holding onto said pick would be foolish (imo) to turn down an offer to gain a huge amount of draft capital. We get what we're lacking (FQB) and the other franchise obviously gets the picks. I hope we're not shy about trying to get Wilson once we see how the draft board settles after the season is over. Look at what the Eagles and Rams gave up for their QBs.

RG3 destroyed his own career.
