Kyle loves the running game. Where do you get that he wants to pass all the time? Some of their biggest plays come on runs or short passes behind the line. This season because of so many injuries to the backs they have passed a little more than run. 310-241 attempts. Last season they passed 478 times and ran 498 times. That's the kind of balance most teams love. Keep in mind that many of those passes are little more than a long handoff.
Kyle isn't Bruce Arians (who wants to chuck it downfield all game) he wants balance like you said...fountain of the offense is the OZ running game. Get that going and the play-action will roll. We've seen that time and time again. If kyle can run the ball it opens up everything.
Kyle also wants affective pass plays. He loves explosive plays (heard him talk about that many times) that's something we've lacked. He's always had some sort of downfield threat. Having the ability to push it downfield in itself helps the run game and PP.
I feel like all we see is a cluster f**k of defensive players near the LOS and middle of the field. I feel like I'm seeing guys blitzing the A gaps all game. Our QBs aren't taking advtange of these blitzes...no Deebo hurts as well. He always forced the defense to have to spread the field more based on all the motions and sweeps.
