That's a glimpse of Wilson to Aiyuk next year !!!!!

Seeing James get underthrown as he's behind the defense...

That's when it hurts when your guy can't get the ball there.

It's nice to finally see Richie get a real shot at playing WR, and he's been taking advantage of it. His speed is deadly. If only we had a QB that could throw the deep ball .

It was a hypothetical discussion Einstein. I've literally been saying it stupid to discuss trades right now without knowing who picks where.

It's a different year than ever before. We have no idea how the whole covid/lack of games is going to impact the value of the picks in this year's class. Lawrence is about as sure a thing as you can get with a proven track record. Wilson really only has one year of proof. So does Trey Lance.

That's why Lawrence and Fields will be easily the top 2 guys and then we'll see on how the rest shake out.

Personally as much as I like what I see from Wilson, I'd be very nervous sending a slew of picks for a guy with just one terrific season on tape.

Perfect world we tank enough to get him without a trade but as mentioned before...no point talking about it now. But evaluating the kid is certainly a go.

What? That's not true at all, kid been the starter since his Freshman year. His past seasons been hindered by injuries, but he still got more than one season's worth of experience along the way. He did exactly what I look for in college QBs, showed progression. This past year he showed his dedication to his craft making long trips everyday and it shows in his play this season with the confidence and swagger that he put it all together.

Yeah I don't think he's 6'3" as listed, more like 6'1" 200lbs

How can you tell?

That's his son, he should know.

Oh, didn't know.

He's 6-3. He's taller than Brees...he's also stated he gained over 11lbs of muscle this off season (this pic was from July 2019 as well)

Wow, that looks like a legit 6'3"! Sorry for the confusion my son

Exactly, but that's a big positive in this draft class. Not only has Zach Wilson battled adversity with injuries and poor performance, he's gotten a lot better every game. The same thing can be said for Mac Jones and Kyle Trask. All three QBs either battled injury or lack experience, but continue to improve each and every game.

Pretty darn impressive from the kid. His pocket presence is on point, he knows where to step up and kept his eyes downfield and hit his receiver in stride for a big play.
I'm all in on this guy, even if it costs next years first.

I think this is the quality he has that I like the most. He seems to have really great pocket awareness.

I wasn't talking just one year of starting. I was talking about one year being what gets them drafted high. I understand what you're talking about, guys grow quickly in college and he wouldn't be the first to suddenly put it together.

But I'm still allowed to be concerned about it. Especially if we're talking about trading up for a guy like that. Injury history also needs to be a concern at this point.

That's why i hope we're in position to take him without the trade. Less pressure to nitpick stuff and talk yourself out of it.
I'm new to the QB draft situation this year, but is this pretty much where we're at:

1) Lawrence (pretty much impossible to get, but obviously #1)
2) Fields (may also be unattainable, but has all the tools to be a star)
3) Wilson (good IT factor, good awareness in the pocket, decent arm strength, good accuracy, good mobility, not great size)
4) Trask (decent arm strength, good accuracy, decent mobility, good size)
5) Jones (seems like just another QB prospect, but good size)
