He looks worth the cost to be honest.
As for Jimmy, he requires special treatment from the coach. It's baffling to me that no one seems to notice the incredible scheme Shanahan does to make his job as easy as possible. He's a liability. He's just less of a liability than our second and third string quarterback.
However, who else is there? There aren't many options, unfortunately. But I think it's time to start considering the end. If Wilson can be had, even with an extra first, it's an upgrade to me, and it's an upgrade that is several million dollars cheaper.
Which team that traded up for a first round QB in the last five years has regretted it? I'd wager there are more teams satisfied than not.
