agree with everything...I guess the knock is he wasn't great in 2018/2019 and dealt with a couple injuries? Also hasn't played top end talent.

I don't really care because the film doesn't lie this kid has "it" I would love him in red and gold

Well the good news is if he has a bad game or nfl scouts hold his opponent against him....we may get a shot at drafting him

Which is crazy because last year he beat USC, even with his shoulder not being close to 100%. Some of the throws he made though... wow. Was able to complete two back shoulder throws into tight coverage where pass interference was called because the ball placement was so good.

Yeah he did play formidable opponents in previous seasons, but injuries plagued him throughout. What I love seeing in college QBs is how they progress every year. This kid has that in spades and seems to have put it all together this year with the benefit of it also being him healthy.

Wont be available. He will be drafted top 10.

Nah dude

If he keeps playing the way he has been he absolutely can. QBs ALWAYS go higher than some think, It's just the nature of the position. More then 3 teams will be looking for a QB and I'm hoping we're one of them and I would trade up for him without thinking twice

An early look at how the 2021 NFL draft picture is shaping up.
Sheesh, what a throw. Zach Wilson's arm talent is pretty special. I need to see more, but I'm starting to get the feelings with him that I had with Mahomes.

Reminds me of Alex Smith when he was at Utah

Perfect for us cause that happens to our RT all the time lol
So it looks like unless we do a big trade up we're not getting this guy

Alex Smith rarely pushed the ball downfield in college like Wilson does. It was his weakness coming into the NFL and he definitely hasn't made it a strength during his pro career.

I think more his height and skinny body. And they are both from Utah colleges. Not so much his play...this guy has a better arm than Smith.

Zachtly..hahahaha. We need to go after this kid, do whatever it takes to get him. He makes explosive plays downfield with his arm constantly and consistently. That's an element our offense is sorely lacking. A good QB on a rookie deal would secure a lot of cap space for us as well.

This could be the way of the future for securing a constantly competitive Super Bowl team. Good to Great QBs command way too much of the salary cap portions. It makes it hard to sign other guys to stay competitive every year. Some of these QBs are asking for $40-50 million a year. That is pretty much 1/4 of the cap space for one player out of 52 guys plus practice squad.

I guarantee the chiefs will find it hard to retain their star players in the next few years. Even a team like us is struggling to keep other cornerstone type players(Buckner) because of so of the cap going to one guy.

I understand the importance of the Franchise QB and supply and demand. This team will have to either cheat the system by drafting a #1 QB on a rookie Deal and working with that for 4-5 years while freeing up the cap for other good to great players. Otherwise it will have a QB on a very high salary and will be forced to nail the draft every year. I would rather draft a QB in the draft once every 4-5 years.
If the 49ers have to move on from Jimmy, I want it to be because of this guy

I've already said he's my draft crush but the talent they are playing is embarrassing for a #11 team.
