I will trust Lynch this time. I wasn't expecting anything from Hyder and he has been a very pleasant surprise.

It's the 49ers' 2022 6th for Jordan Willis+Jets' 2021 7th

Jets 2021 7th is going to basically be the same as one of our 6ths, probably difference of 15-20 picks?
Lynch needs to stop p***y footing and if they know they need help at DE, then trade what you need to get Kerrigan or someone of the equivalent. This guy they traded for has less production than Solomon Thomas

They did the high cost trades last season. They won't be doing that this season. They got to protect the future years as well. Selling out the future every season isn't feasible.

What a homer lol

Who? Me or Oscar?

Willis was good in College...
Oscar. And I quoted the wrong one. The post where he talked about Willis and how he is or nearly is an elite freak and that you should take chances on these types of players, that is the post I meant to call a homer
Got him for basically nothing and he checks the boxes athletically. I know a lot guys like him in the draft. Don't see much downside here

Gotcha.

I mean they basically got him for free and he did grade out as a freak athlete.

Finally a little speed

Personally I'm pumped to see him in our scheme with Kocurek

99% of guys on an nfl roster were very good in college. No reason to say that lol.

The top 250 players in the nfl only make up 15% of the total active players.

This dudes production has been the bottom 15%

No one should even care about this trade until he makes it into a game and makes a play.

Lol people should learn to relax.

Yeah but who knows what happens next year. Bosa could never be the same player he was. Jimmy could go down next year. You play to win the game. This season we could still make a run and get hot at the end of the year, come playoff time. We will need our pass rush to be strong if we want to get back to the Super Bowl. The NFC is weak this year, that includes Seattle with their bad Defense.

I'm not saying give up a first rounder, but a third or fourth is not a big deal.
Too bad Bosa is not around to teach him.
Hype him up on some crack and adderall and set him loose!
I mean if we want to talk about a guy who was great in college. Pettis was all time leader in punt return years or something of that nature. He hasn't done jack in the NFL. Who cares what a guy did in college. Can he produce now, that is the value question

He ran a 4.53 forty at 270 lbs. Kocurek's got to be able to get something out of that. Look how Hyder has done since he's been in there. Let's hope his leg isn't about to fall off.

To be accurate, he ran a 4.53 at 255
