Seadderall seachikens haven't been doing very well in the draft and (i think) free agency too. Hyder is a good player for them, but I think kocurek got the guy he wanted, and the Seachikens probably will overpay for Hyder's 8 sacks.

Doubt it. They wanted Hyder back at a cheaper option.

Hyder wasn't going to take anything cheap to stay with the Niners and backup Bosa, he knows his time is limited and this might be his best chance to get good money. He took the maximum amount he could get and a good chance of a starting job, Bosa should be back and Hyder would probably back to hiding on the bench.

I don't mind this at all especially after losing Hyder. Not saying that he matches that production because among other things he hopefully won't be starting. But he showed more here briefly under Kocurek with not a lot of pass rush talent around him than maybe he had his whole career and he obviously has the athletic tools.

Hopefully Bosa makes a full recovery, Ford contributes at least something, Ekubam flashes and draft at least one true pass rusher and we should be okay. If you can sign one between now and then that's a bonus.

High SPARQ guy. Let's see what he does with a full camp/year with the team. Hoping for some quality backup snaps. With Hyder gone, I'd definitely say edge has to be addressed on day 2.

Wow, no first or third round picks, and OTC basically says almost zero cap space.

Will they make the playoffs next year, boy with those metrics? I'd say they have good chance of *not* making the playoffs.
