On the real though, they'll have to use more AA at end. Ford, Willis and Bosa all need to be very slowly worked in or aren't going to be available early and often. I hope the FO brings in another veteran now to get them ready for the season and for a 6-game try out.

Bosa will put our worries to rest after week 1 when he sacks Goff 3 times.
teams will double and triple team bosa because they fear no one else in my opinion.. no willis was not to be feared but he was a piece of the pie.,. again.. i hope the team finds a way to bring in some respectable vet even if he is on the wrong side of 30 to compete for a spot. because what we have now in my opinion is very underwhelming

they damn well better.. i think ford is not a possibility at all and we need to proceed as if he is not on the team

A vet would be a good option with the question marks surrounding Bosa and Ford. But the players available come with there own? If you spend your cap on one of them and they get injured then you are screwed. Just like last year when they signed that fool from Detroit and immediately got hurt. Willis can probably be replaced with Deashon Hall who is already on the roster and Arden Key. Probably the best thing to do is wait until the final cuts and grab a player if needed. There will be players that are equal to Willis being cut maybe even a better veteran pool to choose from or throw someone a late pick for a scrub. If they had cap space it would be really interesting if they brought in KJ Wright. The last couple of years with Seattle he played a hybrid role of end/lb. I believe he is still available.

Totally.
They should have signed him awhile ago Imo.
how do you pay him.. we have next to nothing left in money
He cant expect to command any kind of big contract at this point in his career. Plus coming to play for a contender may be more enticing than playing for a terrible team with no shot.
Don't we have something Like 17m In cap room? Isn't that enough to sign him?

Ebukam and AA will probably be your base starters while they slowly work Bosa back in...Arden subs in on passing downs. Ford is a massive wild card but lets just pretend he doesn't exist. Willis back in 6 weeks. Pretty thin if the new DC wants to be aggressive on the edges in W9.

Agreed. And CC is right about teams only fearing Bosa. It still helps because if they double and triple him we can scheme around that but it's obviously a blessing and desirable to have two legit edge rushers.
I hope Ryan's is a great schemer cause we need some of that.

He wasn't a piece of the pie but he was hoping to get a piece of pie. There is/was no guarantee he would even make the final roster.

our depth which was thin is more thin... and as nc said..... you treat ford as if he does not exist

Not sure how much of an upgrade Willis is over a guy like Daeshon Hall. Both came out the same year and were 3rd rounders only a few picks apart, biggest difference seems to be JW's quicker/faster and more athletic but neither has developed into anything yet.
Won't be surprised by adding a body in the coming days but if they look to add a more significant player, IMO it won't be until closer to TC or during TC/preseason when a better idea is formed on Ford and if he can/will contribute.
