He was a game changer, for sure! Worth the money they paid him.

Jordan Willis with the sack and the #49ers with the safety!

It's great that he'll be a fresh rushing specialist come week 7. He and Sherfield have had excellent camps!
Can somebody explain why Jordan Willis is not starting over #56 whatever his name is? Jordan reminds me of Dee Ford a little bit with his speed off the Edge. I would like to see on third down Jordan- Armstead-Keys-Bosa!
Ebukam. I keep saying bring Ebukam on a reduced salary, but maybe they decide to keep Willis over Ebukam? Or bring them both into camp and trade one. Looking at you Jets. It would be pretty funny if they Jets traded for him for a higher pick than what we traded for.
I'd keep Ebukam & Willis, can't have enough good EDGE's, Ebukam had a sack tonight, I'd offer Ebukam a short term extension, lower his cap number, save some cap room.
You are right about enough good edges. But it seems like there are so many D-linemen. How many do we normally carry?
I'm thinking they draft a rookie in the mold of Dee Ford to replace him. After that there is Ebukam, Jones, Armste!ad, Bosa, Kinlaw, Hurst, Key, Givens, Willis, and Omenihu.
Can they sign and keep them all? I thought they went with 9 or 10.

Of them, AA, Kinlaw, Bosa, Omenihu, & Ebukam are under contract for 2022, Givens is a ERFA, Key, DJ, Willis, & Hurst UFAs, Street is a RFA also, they usually keep 10 on 53, 9 on 48. With AAs play, & Kinlaw hopefully back fully, they can drop Street, draft an EDGE, just hope Willis, DJ & Arden are re-signed. Willis shouldn't be expensive, I'd peg him around $2m a yr, Key & DJ at $6m a yr, all doable.

I named 11 guys including a rookie. Street wasn't incliuded. If they can do it, I would. I just don't see how. Some may argue that we don't absolutely need the rookie draft pick, which makes it the realistic 10, but that kind of player is absolutely a need. Great problem to have.
