This. Signed him to put a hit on Wilson and then cut him because we don't condone that type of play. Lynch is playing chess while everyone else plays checkers

He was a prospect we talked about a lot in the pre-draft process, but some of his negatives were things I wasn't sure would make him a target for us. Was not high on him. Really has struggled to make an impact since being a 3rd round pick. Only 3 career sacks.
Yeah, I wasn't the biggest fan of Willis, either. I thought he didn't play close to as athletic as he tested.
But the dude did test insanely well at the combine. Kocurek's scheme always seems to improve or even prop up pass rushers, so I wouldn't be surprised if he plays a lot better here than he did in CIN/NY.
True.
I imagine he should play a little better, but not sure he's suddenly gonna be special.

Huh. He did a few of those slow-spin moves on this video. Seems a bit strange to me - I don't know how much I see of this in the pros.

If he's explosive off the snap it will help the DE group. Even if he has no pass rush moves. The DE group seems slow and this affects the stunts that Saleh wants to call.
Dude is definitely explosive and playing from a wide alignment should definitely help him.

We just gave up 2 draft picks for a guy that hasn't been active the last 2 weeks for the Jets. The Jets have the worst roster in the NFL by far. He's also a free agent at seasons end.Our team is devastated by injury and we're giving away draft picks in a season where we have a 0% chance of winning the superbowl. In a year where the cap is going down significantly, have more free agents then I can count we're back to having only 5 2021 draft picks. We're in last place in the division and we're the ones who should be trading away players at the deadline. If Lnych /Shanahan think this team is going to win this season they have lost their minds.

None of this three sacks were very impressive. The best one is actually funny looking as he uses a technique I have never seen before.
He's playing RDE here (60). The super slow spin move while backing into the QB.
Mix a Dwight Freeney and a mix of my drunk uncle

Compensation update: The #49ers traded a sixth-round pick in 2022 to the #Jets for Jordan Willis and a seventh-round pick in 2021, per source. https://t.co/oitdre1zRX

Basically nothing
New 49ers EDGE Jordan Willis is incredibly athletic. He ranked in the 97th percentile of athletes when drafted. Only player better in his draft class (with a SPARQ score) was Myles Garrett.

If you're going to take a low-risk swing at a guy, this is the kinda guy you want.
