If he's explosive off the snap it will help the DE group. Even if he has no pass rush moves. The DE group seems slow and this affects the stunts that Saleh wants to call.

Dude is definitely explosive and playing from a wide alignment should definitely help him.

Speed and wide9 go well together so let's see what Koceruk can do.

Big time!

The article didn't say whether it was the Jets 7th rounder of one that they had from another team. if it's the Jets then it's like swapping 6th rounders and getting a player as well since the Jets are probably going to be picking 1st or 2nd.

I think it's a solid move. The 49ers need bodies at edge, and if they're going to gamble with a day-3 pick, why not gamble on a guy who tested like a borderline elite athlete? I don't see why people are whining.

well, at least it's a very late late pick and MORE TO GAIN!!

Welcome to the NINER FAMILY!!

Give him #52 already !!!

Poor 9moon. He's stuck in 1985.

Woooooooooo we got one!

Right. It's for day 3 picks. The best you can do in a trade with day 3 picks is an underachiever that might perform better with a change of scenery.

Moon also is unaware that when Willis was in Cincy, they played a 4-3 D and he played end.

He's also unaware that the end in a W9 is basically a hand in the dirt version of the 3-4 OLB. It's "3-4 principles in a 4-3"

On the sack where he stunted, I think that's where he can contribute to the 49ers. He probably is not good with pass rush moves 1v1, but with his speed and athleticism, he might be effective on stunts.

He's also unaware that Saleh allows his edge rushers the flexibility to rush out of whatever stance they feel most comfortable. He's never forced his edge rushers to put their hand in the dirt. Elvis Dumervil, Cassius Marsh, Dee Ford, etc. all rushed standing up a lot.

Any DC that's forcing his edge rushers to play up or down is a clown. It's 2020.

Basically nothing

Yes, the picks balance. Anything we get from the player is a bonus.

This, we needed picks in 2021 after trading up for Aiyuk this past year.

Oh Cassius Marsh...That was another thing I miss about Bosa. He made me forget about Marsh.
Does this allow AA to rush from inside?
