Really regretting trading Daniel Kilgore now

He is having a great year with Kansas City. They were smart enough to scoop him up after the Dolphins released him. I would take him over Richburg any day.... sigh. With our injury record at Center, why the heck wasn't Richburg his backup instead? He would have been real useful now.
Kilgore didn't really fit Shanny's system, they only signed him in case they couldn't land a FA C, Richburg is a better C IMO, he was playing at an All Pro level before his injury.
This guy was atrocious on our team. He would get pushed back every single play so the fact that he doesn't look that bad now is great for him but I have a feeling that he's still the horrible player that he has always been.

Agreed. Shanny generally doesn't like players that can stay healthy.

what in the world are we talking about here? Having a great yr? Dude has played in one game vs a horrible bills DL.

In no world is he better than Richburg, he's actually worse than Garland and I'd question if he's actually better than Grasu.
when your QB can extend plays with his legs & run 10 yards backwards from the LOS AND still sling it downfield like Randy Johnson....that's more on the QB then anything the OL does.

We don't need a thread about this

Some people just like making s**t up lol
Hate to be THAT guy, but he ain't a niner so get this s**t outta NT! It's messing with my eyes looking for threads I want to click on.
He is an unwanted FA. Don't agree with this thread one bit.
Dudes gonna be talking about trading for Jordan Devey next
You know how this goes:

Great move at the time.

Scheme.

Cap space.

What would YOU have done?

I agree. Are we going to go back and list all the players we've traded that did well somewhere else? They're gone, get over it.
Kilgore has played 73 snaps (one game) for KC. In that game, his rating for PP was two points LOWER than Garland in 333 snaps. His run blocking was one point higher. In that game, the LG was calling the blocking assignments because Kilgore was not yet familiar with the system.

When he was with SF he was frequently injured. Coming up for a new contract, he clearly was not worth what his agent would be asking. Letting him go was the correct move. If he became available via FA, he might be worth signing on a $750,000 vet minimum deal, which is what he is getting from the Chiefs.

You mean the same Kilgore who was on IR with the Dolphins? Is that what you call healthy?
