Trey Lance? The most pro ready???

Crocker's gotta stay in his lane. He's losing it wanting those CB skills at QB.

Why is Jones? They're all saying Lance has the highest football IQ out of all of them oh and he did this...basically ran Kyle's offense, huddled up (not taking signs from the side line), called his own protections, got half plays at the LOS then got to change it based on pre snap reads, had long lengthy play calls, played under center....also spent the last 6 months learning NFL playbooks with NFL QBs....yeah I think he could run the offense about as well as Jimmy did.

I mean I'm pretty sure RG3 did fine his rookie yr, no? He came out of a straight up air raid offense too

The competition level doesn't bother you? Did he play against one NFL caliber player?

If he didn't have the intelligence or maturity, then sure. I'd rather have Jimmy start than any rookie QB, but Lance has what you need between the ears to make the most out of his gifts. Again, he was putting together elite tape the same age Mac was drinking, crashing into cars, and almost getting booted from his program.

Total games in collegiate career with at least 6 completions 10+ yards downfield (FBS avg is ~5.5 per start) Trevor Lawrence: 21 Zach Wilson: 21 Justin Fields: 16 Mac Jones: 12 Trey Lance: 1

That and to Chance, Mac was good enough to get offered by Bama, Lance was not. Doesn't mean much now but doing things in Tuscaloosa are much more meaningful than on Fargo

Stats like these are just bad faithed. It's like working backwards from a conclusion and adjusting the parameters to fit that narrative. Get out of here with that nonsense.

Like I said, I'm sure the people with access to his QB coach (Beck being a former QB under Shanahan), has a good read on how he's throwing the football.

Lance was accepted into Harvard. Would that mean that he's even smarter than galaxy-brain Mac? And again, he was putting together pro tape as Mac was sitting in the drunk tank.

The assumption is that Kyle would take Wilson over Jones. The reality is that unless the Jets or the Jags take Jones, our pick is going to be Mac Jones.

Yeah, crazy times. I'm glad I'm not locked in on one guy because I'd probably have gone bat s**t crazy by now.

It was a short trip.

I don't have a favorite but overlooking this stuff seems reckless. This is concerning for a potential top 3.

Didn't hurt Wentz, Jimmy G or Tony Romo...

Pick Mac Jones and just end this thing.

"End this thing" 'Thing' being any chance of a super bowl in the next 7 years?
Jeff Garcia called Mac Jones Jimmy 2.0

his preference was to draft the more dynamics QBs in Fields or Lance who can wreak havoc on defenses.

Not for the Bama QBs that made the NFL the last 30 years. Wentz was better than all of them.

That is all well and good. Do you know where he wasn't accepted? Not a single Division 1 school offered him a scholarship to play QB. Meanwhile, Mac was able to start at QB for the best college football program on the planet.

So good his team won a super bowl with his back up then imploded when he started. He was the worst qb in the league last year.
Also, we have established Mac is a Snake Stabler Joe Namath hybrid. Just the ultimate partier who happens to win championships.
