The next Patriot dynasty just began. Belichik wanted him all along. It's going to be funny to see him in the playoffs while Trey Lance is still trying to learn. People clamoring "anybody but Jones!". Be careful what you wish for.

Of course. But so much can go wrong that 15 mil vs 34 mil is a massive difference . Nothing is guaranteed. There's a reason that guarantees on contracts are so sought after , sometimes at the expense of a larger overall contract.

None of those teams have proven a thing. Patriots with a ton of opt outs and potato Cam at QB still went 7-9 last season. That was their rock bottom season. 7-9.

They upgraded their defense, have a bunch of players returning after opting out, upgraded the OL, upgraded their offense, I can easily see them winning 10 or more games. Belichick is still Belichick, can't underestimate that dude, even without Brady.
